The Opportunity
Under the guidance of industry experts, you will be trained from the ground up to become a skilled Electro-Plater and Masker. You will learn the precision masking techniques and chemistry required to treat high-value components used across the aerospace industry.
What You Will Learn & Do
- Precision Masking: Learn the vital, high-detail art of component masking—preparing and protecting specific areas of complex parts before they undergo chemical processing.
- Specialist Processes: Receive full training in advanced surface treatments, including Anodising, Chrome Plating, and industrial painting.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Learn to accurately read and follow engineering drawings to identify exactly where masking and plating need to be applied.
- Quality Standards: Develop a sharp eye for precision, completing quality reports and assessments in line with strict ISO 9001 and AS9100 aviation standards.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the quality management and production teams to ensure flawless delivery.
