Our client, the largest independent used car dealership in the South West, is actively seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their expanding team in Avonmouth. Duties:
- Conduct fault diagnosis on engines, brakes, transmissions, and fuel systems
- Perform servicing and repairs on a variety of makes and models
- Rebuild engines and refurbish vehicle parts
- Collaborate with parts team and Pre-Delivery Vehicle Technicians to ensure smooth workflow
- Ensure high standards of health and safety are maintained
- Monitor tools and machinery condition, identify potential hazards
- Adhere to dealership standards and deliver high-quality work in a professional workshop environment
Requirements:
- Minimum IMI/NVQ Level 2 qualification or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
- One to two years’ practical experience as a Vehicle Technician
- Own set of tools
- Holding a valid UK driving license with minimal points
- Strong team player, motivated, committed, and capable of working efficiently under pressure
- Ability to produce high-quality work and meet team targets
