Bank Care Assistant (Days & Nights)
Harwood Court Residential Home is proud to be part of the Distinguished Care Group, a newly established organisation committed to delivering exceptional, person-centred care in beautifully maintained, supportive environments.
Located in Cramlington, Harwood Court offers a warm, welcoming home surrounded by attractive gardens and peaceful outdoor spaces. Our environment reflects our ethos: homely, respectful, and centred on wellbeing—for both residents and staff.
About the Role
We're looking for compassionate and reliable Bank Care Assistants to join our team for Day and Night shifts.
As a Bank Care Assistant, you'll provide high-quality care by covering shifts as required, helping to ensure continuity of care for our residents. This is an ideal role if you're looking for flexible working that fits around your existing commitments while making a real difference to people's lives.
You'll build meaningful relationships with residents, supporting them with kindness and compassion in a way that reflects their individual needs and life stories. Working alongside the Senior Carer and wider team, you'll help create a safe, supportive environment where every person feels heard, respected, and genuinely cared for.

What We're Looking For
- Kind, patient individuals who genuinely care about others.
- People who value dignity, empathy, and respect.
- Reliable team players with a positive, flexible approach.
- The ability to adapt to changing staffing needs and work across a variety of shifts.
- Willingness to complete required training, including the Care Certificate if new to care.
Previous care experience is welcomed but not essential—what matters most is your compassion, reliability, and commitment. Full training and ongoing support will be provided.
