Are you an experienced Nursing Home Manager, Registered Manager or senior care leader looking for the opportunity to take the lead at a brand-new care home?
We are recruiting on behalf of an ambitious care provider seeking an experienced Nursing Home Manager to take full responsibility for the leadership, quality, culture and commercial performance of a newly opened service in North Yorkshire.

The Role
As Nursing Home Manager, you will take full responsibility for the successful operation and performance of the home.
Key responsibilities include:
Building, developing and retaining a stable, engaged and high-performing team, including nurses and clinical staff.
Taking full accountability for CQC compliance, governance and audits.
Growing occupancy and establishing a strong reputation within the local community.
Building strong relationships with families, local authorities, healthcare professionals and community partners.
Providing effective clinical oversight, including medication and nursing standards.
Creating a calm, well-led and operationally strong environment.
About You
We're looking for an established Nursing Home Manager, Registered Manager or senior care leader with:
Proven experience managing a care home or large care service.
A strong track record of driving occupancy growth.
Experience successfully leading a home through CQC inspections with Good outcomes.
Commercial awareness, including budget management and cost control.
Confidence building relationships with families, commissioners and external stakeholders.
A stable career history and genuine commitment to long-term leadership.
A Level 5 qualification or equivalent.
Previous commissioning experience and/or an RGN/RMN qualification would be advantageous but is not essential.
The role is based in Bedale, North Yorkshire, with an ideal candidate catchment covering the surrounding areas within approximately a 45-minute commute, including Northallerton, Ripon, Thirsk, Richmond, Leyburn, Masham, Darlington, Middlesbrough, Harrogate, York, Pickering and Helmsley, as well as the surrounding towns and villages.
