Hours: 10:00am – 2:00pm
Pay: Competitive (based on experience)
About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Secondary School Teacher to deliver engaging Maths and English lessons to students aged 11–16 (KS3 and GCSE level). This is an in-person role based at our tuition centre, running every Saturday during term time and school holidays (all year round)
What You'll Be Doing
- Deliver engaging KS3 and GCSE Maths and English lessons
- Support students of mixed abilities and learning needs
- Help students build confidence, improve attainment, and prepare for examinations
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Create a positive, structured, and motivating learning environment
- Encourage student participation and independent learning
What We're Looking For
- Strong subject knowledge in Maths and/or English at KS3 and GCSE level
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- A positive, patient, and motivating attitude
- Ability to engage and inspire secondary-aged students
- Availability to work Saturdays in person
- Teaching experience is preferred but not essential
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is desirable but not required
- Experience working with young people aged 11–16 is advantageous
