The Growth Company (GC) is seeking a Digital Marketing Manager to lead and deliver digital marketing strategies across our brands and online services. The role will oversee our websites, social media channels and digital activity, ensuring high-quality content, strong governance, security, brand consistency and an effective online presence.
We're looking for someone with strong technical SEO and Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) expertise, alongside experience in paid media, social media, content marketing, and digital performance analysis.

This is a hybrid role, with one day per week based at Lee House, our Manchester office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the delivery of the Growth Company’s Digital Strategy, working collaboratively with Marketing, IT and Service Delivery teams.
- Provide strategic direction on website management, digital platforms, SEO/GEO, paid media, CRM and marketing automation activities.
- Develop and maintain digital governance frameworks to ensure content meets brand, accessibility, security and compliance standards.
- Oversee the organisation’s social media presence, ensuring robust governance, best practice and effective management of digital channels.
- Work with stakeholders across the business to develop digital roadmaps that enhance user experience and optimise customer journeys.
- Lead the integration of websites and digital platforms with business systems, including CRM solutions.
- Deliver strategic digital insight, analysis and reporting to inform marketing activity and support business growth.
- Manage and develop a team of Digital Officers, providing leadership, support and performance management.

- An excellent communicator with the ability to explain complex digital concepts in plain English.
- Committed to delivering high-quality outcomes while maintaining a strong focus on customer experience and continuous improvement.
Skills Required:
- Comprehensive knowledge of digital marketing, website management, website architecture and digital platform strategy.
- Strong expertise in SEO, GEO, paid media, social media, CRM systems and marketing automation.
- Experience leading digital campaigns across B2B and B2C audiences, including email, social and display advertising.
- Proficiency in digital analytics and reporting tools, including Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and dashboard platforms.
- Experience managing multiple CMS platforms, with practical knowledge of HTML, CSS and Umbraco.
- Strong understanding of UX/UI design principles, digital accessibility standards and GDPR compliance.
- Experience working collaboratively with external agencies and advising teams across a range of business functions.
- Excellent planning, organisational, problem-solving and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
