- Use specialized equipment for floor care such as buffing machines and carpet cleaners to maintain pristine surfaces.
- Conduct janitorial duties in both commercial and residential settings, ensuring all areas are tidy and organized.
- Assist with custodial responsibilities like restocking supplies and maintaining cleaning equipment for optimal performance.
- Support facilities maintenance by addressing minor repairs or reporting issues that require professional attention.
- Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures to ensure a secure environment for yourself and others.
- Maintain detailed logs of cleaning activities and report any irregularities or damages promptly.
Experience
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with cleaning techniques and equipment.
- Experience with industrial or commercial cleaning projects, including floor care such as buffing and stripping, is advantageous.
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance tasks and basic repair skills will help you excel in this role.
- Previous porter experience or background in custodial services can provide a strong foundation for success.
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery safely and efficiently is essential.
