Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Educator who specialises in working with children with additional needs. The successful candidate will work 1:1 with a range of children with complex needs, supporting their early development and learning and ensuring they reach their full potential. The position is suitable for individuals with experience in childcare and caring for children with SEND.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging activities based on the child's individual targets
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children in your care at all times
- Foster a warm, inclusive, and supportive environment that encourages learning through play
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily activities
- Communicate effectively with parents carers
- Follow the companies policies and procedures at all times
Skills
- Proven experience working with children with SEND
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Knowledge of child development
- Ability to organise activities based around specific, individualised targets
- Compassionate, patient, and nurturing demeanour
Pay: From £13.50 per hour
