Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Executive Chef to lead our culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for culinary excellence, and extensive experience in food production and kitchen management. The Executive Chef will be responsible for developing innovative menus, supervising staff, and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.
Duties
- Lead and manage the entire kitchen team, including sous chefs, chefs de partie, and kitchen assistants
- Oversee food preparation, ensuring consistency, presentation, and quality meet brand standards
- Develop and implement creative menus that reflect current culinary trends and customer preferences
- Supervise food production processes to optimise efficiency and minimise waste
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene across the kitchen
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and control costs to maximise profitability
- Train and mentor staff to enhance their skills and promote a positive working environment
- Coordinate with front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service delivery
- Monitor staff performance and conduct regular appraisals to foster professional development
