The opportunity
An exciting opportunity for an ambitious Customer Service Executive to join our friendly team, with the flexibility of a mix of office-based and remote working.
Marqetspace is a trade print network. We connect print and graphics professionals with a wide-ranging supply chain of high-quality print, signage and exhibition products, so they can serve all of their clients' marketing needs from one place.
We couple a simple online ordering process with exceptional, personable customer service. Whether our customers want to take full control of their own ordering or need a little extra support, we tailor to how they like to work. (Our customers regularly tell us they love that our helpdesk is human, not AI – we intend to keep it that way.)
About us
Our support team provides outstanding customer service for our clients. The culture is one of approachability, support, collaboration and fun. You'll add a little magic by making ordering easy and by taking an active part in identifying and improving how we do customer service.
At Marqetspace, our team is our greatest asset, contributing valued knowledge, skills and enthusiasm every day to make it the company that it is. We pledge to offer you a positive working environment and atmosphere, whilst encouraging your personal development.
The role
You'll be the voice of Marqetspace, the person our customers come to when they need something ordered, quoted, chased or fixed.
Day-to-day, you'll be:
- Providing sales and customer service support via email, phone and online chat
- Creating quotes, with timely follow-up calls
- Resolving customer issues
- You'll manage key accounts, rooting yourself in your clients' businesses to understand how you can support them to grow their sales.
- When a new enquiry registers, you'll get in touch to onboard them, understand how you can work together, and convert them into a valued customer.
- You'll review the product mix that different customers order, and educate them on what else they could be selling through their business.
- Achieving and exceeding team sales targets
Success in this role looks like: an increase in customer spend, growth in new customer registrations, and improved conversion of those registrations into active customers.
About you
- An appetite to continually learn and develop
- Able to multi-task, prioritise and manage your time effectively
- The drive to leverage sales and build relationships
- An excellent listener, who can demonstrate sales and leadership skills
- Adaptable, and able to think on your feet
- IT literate
- Confident on the telephone
- Design and print knowledge is desirable, though full training will be given to the right person
- You know when to laugh. We spend long enough at work – we should enjoy our time together
How we'll help
We'll provide you with full training on our products, processes and systems, and you'll be surrounded by people who know this industry inside out. You'll have the appetite to hit the ground running.
This role can grow in plenty of directions, into account management and sales, or across our supply chain, marketing and operations teams.
