Here at Apsley Farms, we grow crop to produce biomethane for the national gas grid to create electricity and heat homes. And co2 for the food and beverages industry using our 5 anaerobic biodigesters. We have a well established mulch business supplying the gardening industry and we are also expanding the company into the dry ice industry at the moment with further progression.
Apsley Farms have an exciting job available for a maintenance technician here at our biogas plant in Hampshire. We are looking for someone to help out with our existing maintenance team to improve the maintenance of the plant and building of further projects in the pipework. The applicant must have extensive mechanical, hydraulic and electrical (12-24V) knowledge with the ability to work as part of a team or lone working. 8am - 5pm with the opportunity for extra hours and responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance of mechanical components around the site. Ranging from the hydraulic packs on the feeding systems to seepex pumps on the biodigesters.
- Servicing and preventative maintenance of further components on the biogas plant. e.g. blowers and compressors.
- Repair and modifications to pipework ranging from air, gas, water and substrate lines.
- Maintenance on the ifor williams trailers and commercial trailer running gear.

Qualifications and Experiences:
- NVQ2 or above required.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- English communication skills required.
- 5 years of mechanical experience required.
- Welding tickets and experience beneficial.
- Gas safety tickets and experience beneficial.
