Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and professional 7½ Ton / Van Driver to join our dynamic logistics team. Duties
- Safely operate 7½ Ton / Van Driver, adhering to all road safety regulations and company policies
- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
- Load, secure, and deliver goods using flatbed equipment, ensuring proper handling and safety during transit
- Plan delivery routes efficiently to meet deadlines and optimize fuel usage
- Assist with loading and unloading deliveries as needed, maintaining a high level of accuracy
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate delivery schedules
- Complete all necessary documentation accurately, including delivery logs and inspection reports
Qualifications
- Valid 7½ Ton / Van Driver driving license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably with flatbed or commercial vehicle operation
- Knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for commercial driving
- Experience with delivery routes, route planning, and time management skills
- Ability to handle physical tasks such as loading/unloading goods safely
- Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and team members
- Nice-to-have skills include experience with flatbed transportation, familiarity with delivery procedures, and certifications related to commercial driving standards

Pay: £31,000.00-£33,500.00 per year
