Marpol Security are seeking security officers to join our static security provision in the Blackpool region. We are seeking officers for a leisure centre premises in the Bispham area, joining the team on a long term basis. We are seeking experienced, professional officers with an interest in front-of-house security to express interest. Coverage required for afternoon/evening shifts between Monday and Sunday. Site shifts are 5/6 hours in length, between 12:00-22:00. The opportunity would be ideal for candidates seeking a job share or part-time hours to supplement other commitments.
As well as providing a visual deterrent for our client, as a security officer, you will be responsible for securing premises and undertaking concierge duties, responding to emergencies and helping to identify and prevent criminal activity.
Duties Include
- Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; equipment, and access points; permitting entry to authorised personnel, and moving on unauthorised individuals/loiterers.
- Prevent loss and damage to the site by reporting irregularities
- Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances on behalf of the business
- Take accurate notes to complete reports, logbook entries and all relevant paperwork to a high standard - including reporting in detail any incidents occurring whilst on duty and escalating through required channels
- Ensure risk assessment and assignment instructions are always followed to meet client requirements and health and safety practices
- Liaise with a wide variety of clientele including staff, supply chain, external visitors and government officials in a professional manner
- Enacting the behaviours and values of Marpol and our client in your daily duties.
