Reporting to the Head of Brand Partnerships & Hospitality, the Partnerships Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of key AELTC Official Partner relationships, delivering first-class client service and creating value through the Wimbledon brand and audience on a 12 month fixed term contract.
- Lead the strategic management, planning and delivery of key commercial partnerships, with a focus on best-in-class activation, long-term partner value and commercial revenue growth
- Oversee day-to-day management of key relationships with our Official Partners, both directly and through their agencies
- Own the end-to-end delivery of Official Partner rights and fulfilment programmes, aligned with the AELTC’s marketing and commercial strategy, while consistently exceeding partner expectations
- Drive cross-functional collaboration across internal AELTC departments to deliver integrated, high-impact partner activations and maximise shared value
- Develop, implement and oversee AELTC events and activations for Official Partners across on-site, local, national and international touchpoints
- Support Official Partner renewals and revenue growth by contributing to renewal discussions, identifying upsell opportunities, reviewing rights usage and contributing to new business development
- Work with the Data & Insights team to develop briefs, agree ways of working with agencies, and to deliver broadcast, brand and content value reports to Official Partners following The Championships
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture across the Brand Partnerships & Hospitality team and the wider Marketing and Commercial Department
- Provide indirect people management by supporting the Partnerships Executive across Official Partner accounts and coordinating internal stakeholders to gather feedback, input and approvals for partner-related activity
- Support management and forecasting of the Partnerships budget, including regular Finance updates and tracking partner invoicing
- Provide ongoing daily support for all Official Partner activations
- Support the delivery of Official Partner digital, social and marketing-led activations
- Coordinate with the Hospitality Manager to ensure smooth delivery of Official Partner suite benefits and ticketing requirements
- Manage logistics and approvals for Official Partner film and photo shoots held at the AELTC
- Manage on-site Official Partner activation builds, ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements
- Manage Official Partner activation builds in the Queue
- Experience building and managing brand partner relationships, ideally within sport
- Project and event management experience, with a creative approach to delivery
- Experience delivering marketing, media-led, digital and social brand partner campaigns
- Excellent IT and communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to write succinct, accurate reports and make presentations to key stakeholders
- The ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with a diverse range of people
- Experience of managing budgets and invoicing processes
- High literacy and attention to detail
- Able to take personal responsibility and adopt a proactive, solution-focused approach to meet deadlines within agreed guidelines
- Strong work ethic and the ability to multi-task and cope with fluctuating workloads and pressure
- Confident user of Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of the sports industry, with experience in brand partnerships or sponsorship preferred
