Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and a reliable Food Packer to join a busy production kitchen team in Acton. This will involve packing sandwiches, salads, bakery items, ready meals etc and labelling them with the correct ingredient and use by date labels. This is a zero hours contract, so shifts will vary — during busy periods you could be working 8–10 hour shifts.
What you'll be doing:
- Packing and labelling food accurately and efficiently
- Maintaining a clean, hygienic kitchen environment at all times
- Following good personal hygiene standards
- Working with an understanding of allergens and expiry dates
- Working well as part of a fast-paced, busy production kitchen team
- Keeping the packing area clean, organised, and tidy
- Assisting with stock rotation and storage where required
- Supporting the kitchen team with general duties when needed
What we're looking for:
- Must have the right to work in the UK
- Previous experience working in a kitchen environment is essential
- A food hygiene qualification is desirable but not essential
- Good attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- A team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment
Pay & Benefits:
- £12.71-14.00 per hour
