Associate Dentist – Taylored Dental Care, Wibsey
Location: Taylored Dental Care, Wibsey, Bradford
Days: 2 days per week
Friday essential | Second day TBC
Position: Self-Employed Associate Dentist
About the opportunity
We’re looking for an experienced, enthusiastic Associate Dentist to join our friendly team at Taylored Dental Care Wibsey for approximately two days per week, with Friday being essential and the second day to be agreed.
Taylored Dental Care is an established, independent private dental group with practices across Bradford and Keighley.
Our ethos is simple:
Dentistry for those who hate dentists.
We’ve built our reputation around caring for nervous, anxious and dental-phobic patients — including many people who may have avoided dentistry for years because of fear, embarrassment or previous bad experiences.
Because of that, how you make patients feel is just as important to us as the dentistry itself. We’re looking for someone who can build trust, communicate clearly and help patients feel genuinely comfortable and looked after.
This is a great opportunity for a dentist who is keen to build and develop their own private patient book within an established and growing practice.
The role
This is not a position where you will simply inherit a full existing diary. We’re looking for someone who is motivated to build their own patient base and grow their book, with the support of the practice and our wider team.
You will also have access to a shared list of practice plan patients, alongside new patients and other opportunities generated through the practice.
We’re looking for someone who enjoys providing high-quality general dentistry, comprehensive treatment planning and building long-term relationships with patients.
Your work is likely to include:
- Comprehensive examinations and treatment planning
- General restorative dentistry
- Crown and bridgework
- Endodontics
- Extractions and general oral surgery
- Management of more complex treatment needs
- Seeing patients from our shared practice plan patient base
- Welcoming and retaining new patients
- Developing your own private patient book
- Internal referrals for implants, sedation and other advanced procedures where appropriate
- Building strong, long-term relationships with patients
There is also plenty of opportunity for a clinician with additional interests or skills to develop these within the practice.
What we’re looking for
We’d love to hear from a dentist who is:
- GDC registered
- Experienced in private dentistry or comfortable transitioning into a private environment
- Confident with comprehensive treatment planning
- Motivated to build and develop their own patient base
- A warm and reassuring communicator
- Comfortable treating nervous, anxious and dental-phobic patients
- Able to build trust with patients who may have had difficult dental experiences in the past
- Clinically driven and committed to providing high-quality dentistry
- Proactive about patient retention and developing their book
- Reliable, positive and keen to become a genuine part of the practice
Most importantly, we want somebody who understands what “Dentistry for those who hate dentists” really means — taking the time to listen, reassure patients and make their experience as comfortable and positive as possible.
Why Taylored Dental Care?
We’re an independent dental group rather than a corporate, so we can make decisions based on what works for our patients, clinicians and team.
You’ll benefit from:
- The opportunity to build your own private patient book
- Access to a shared list of practice plan patients
- New patient opportunities generated by the practice
- An established reputation for treating nervous and anxious patients
- A supportive and experienced nursing and reception team
- Strong internal referral pathways
- Access to clinicians providing implants, sedation and advanced dentistry
- Modern digital dentistry and clinical equipment
- Clinical freedom
- Support to develop additional areas of dentistry
- A friendly, approachable team
- An owner-led practice where good ideas can actually be implemented
We want our associates to build successful, sustainable patient books and enjoyable long-term careers with us, rather than simply fill a surgery.
Days
Approximately 2 days per week
Friday – essential
Second day – to be agreed
There may be opportunities to increase days in the future as the clinician’s book develops.
