Hive Estates Management is growing, and we're looking for two new people to join our team in Portsmouth.
We're a growing property management company with a big focus on doing things properly, looking after our tenants and landlords, and being proactive rather than waiting for problems to land on our desk.
We manage a growing portfolio of HMOs, buy-to-lets and blocks across the South of England, and because we're growing quickly, there's plenty of opportunity for the right people to grow with us.
We're currently looking for:
-Senior Lettings / Property Manager
We're looking for someone with experience in lettings and/or property management who can come in and take leadership of a portfolio from day one.
You'll be dealing directly with landlords and tenants, overseeing lettings, keeping on top of maintenance and compliance and generally making sure all properties are running as they should.
Candidates ideally to have experience with:
- Managing residential properties and tenancies
- Lettings and tenant onboarding
- Maintenance and contractor management
- Landlord and tenant communication
- Deposits, inventories and check-outs
- Dealing with the inevitable random problems that property management throws at you!
HMO experience would be a big advantage, but it's not essential if you've got a strong lettings/property management background and are keen to learn.
Most importantly, we're looking for someone who's organised, approachable, commercially minded and good with people.
-Junior Property Manager
For the junior role, experience isn't everything.
We're much more interested in finding someone who's organised, confident speaking to people and keen to build a career in property.
You'll work alongside our existing team and learn the day-to-day running of a property portfolio, including:
- Speaking with tenants and landlords
- Helping organise maintenance
- Property inspections
- Viewings
- Tenant move-ins and move-outs
- Compliance checks
- Contractor coordination
- General property management
- Learning how HMOs, BTLs and blocks are managed properly
You might already have some experience in property, lettings, administration or customer service, or you might simply be looking for your first proper opportunity in the industry.
