An opportunity has arisen for a Personal Care/ Non Teaching Assistant to work at the East SILC. This post is initially at our Jack Clark site but could be based at any of our sites across the SILC if required. This will be a permanent post from September 2026, subject to a 6 month probationary period.
The main duties are:
Attend to the learner’s personal needs and implement related personal programmes.
Supervise and support learners during the lunch break ensuring their safety.
Establish good working relationships with learners, acting as a role model and being aware of and responding appropriately to individual needs.
Encourage learners to interact with others and engage in playground activities.
We require a resilient person who is adaptable, a good communicator and be able to work as part of our team.
