Salary: £27,000. Negotiable depending on experience.
Start date: Immediate start.
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced Dog Grooming Stylist to join our company.
Due to the success and recent expansion of our salon, we are looking for a grooming Stylist to join our team at Top Dog Grooming.
Our spacious salon is fully equipped including, three top of the range foot pedal electric grooming tables, two salon sized dog baths, one being a Pro Dog Hydro bath, three Monster blaster/dryers, cordless Andis clippers and accessories and a top of the range built-in air conditioning unit.
You will find Top Dog Grooming situated perfectly on the outskirts of Crewe with an amazing community of pet lovers and owners. We are located inside a thriving local family run pet store.
What we would like from you:
· A recognised dog grooming qualification or detailed proof of experience is desirable.
· You’ll have a minimum of 2 years’ experience of working within a grooming environment, and it is essential that you are able to complete a groom from start to finish on all breeds to a high standard.
· A proactive attitude with the ability to be able to confidently groom dogs without assistance.
· You’ll be a friendly individual with excellent customer service skills and have a passion for dog grooming and a love of animals.
· Own grooming tools such as clippers, scissors, and brushes (desirable but not essential).
· Confidence in handling all breeds of dogs in a safe manner whilst prioritising their welfare.
· You will be commercially aware and understand the importance of driving salon sales.
· Be able to effectively manage an online salon diary to maximise the number of appointments.
· Deliver high standards in all aspects of the role whilst ensuring first class presentation and a high level of housekeeping and maintenance of equipment.
· Willingness to pass grooming knowledge to potential trainee stylists as the business continues to grow.
