Roseland Kennels & Cattery is looking for a caring, reliable and hardworking Animal Care Assistant to join our friendly team.This is a hands-on role caring for dogs and cats in a busy, professional boarding kennels and cattery. If you're passionate about animal welfare, enjoy working outdoors and aren't afraid of hard work, we'd love to hear from you.
Duties include:
- Feeding and caring for dogs and cats. Walking and exercising dogs. Cleaning and maintaining kennels, catteries and outdoor areas to a high standard. Monitoring animal health and wellbeing. Administering medication where required (training provided). Greeting customers and assisting with arrivals and collections. Maintaining excellent hygiene and welfare standards.
The successful applicant will:
- Have a genuine love of animals. Be reliable, punctual and hardworking. Be physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather. Be able to work independently and as part of a team. Have excellent attention to detail.
