We are looking for a friendly and reliable Food Service Assistant to join our school catering team at Wembley High School.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in keeping things clean and organised, and wants to be part of a team serving meals to students in a busy school environment.
What you’ll be doing:
- Assisting with food preparation and service
- Serving meals to students and staff
- Setting up and clearing dining areas
- Washing up and maintaining kitchen cleanliness
- Following food hygiene and health & safety procedures
- Supporting the kitchen team during busy service periods
- Helping ensure allergen and food safety procedures are followed
What we’re looking for:
- Friendly and positive attitude
- Able to work effectively as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Comfortable working in a busy environment
- Previous catering, hospitality, kitchen or food service experience desirable
- Food Hygiene Level 2 qualification desirable (training available)
Please note:
- Enhanced DBS check required
- Candidates should be able to travel reliably to Wembley High School Monday to Friday
