This a part-time role working up to the equivalent of three days per week. Hours of work are flexible within office hours of Monday to Thursday 9-5, Friday 9-4. This role is part of a small team based in our modern, air-conditioned office in central Aylesbury.
The role, after probation, comes with private health scheme and pension.
Manage end to end administrative support processes associated with NTDA’s membership and licensing and ensure smooth operations, whilst always building and maintaining excellent relationships with members, training providers, licence holders, prospective members and other stakeholders.
Provide administrative support for the NTDA Chief Executive Officer, Board of Directors, Executive Officers and Executive Council.
Support the administration and assist in the planning and execution of various association and related trade events.
Duties
Liaise with our approved training providers to manage licence applications and certifications.
Create and issue, licence certificates and licence cards.
Act as a point of contact for all written and phone communication from members.
Support the organisation and delivery of events
Prepare and circulate, in a timely and environmentally friendly manner, agendas and supporting correspondence and papers for all meetings.
Lead on the annual data and information gathering relating to member’s principal contacts, head office details and depots details and delegate related activities to colleagues if assistance is required.
Provide the Financial Controller with the necessary information for accurate subscription fee invoicing on 1st December.
Respond in a timely and professional manner to general external queries and provide tailored advice via phone, email, and post, always ensuring a high standard of communication.
Respond in a timely and professional manner to calls and emails from colleagues, stakeholders, and industry partners.
Answer, respond to and /or direct calls to the appropriate person, taking accurate messages and relaying these accordingly.
Be an active member of the small team by carrying out general office tasks as required.
Qualifications
Proven experience in customer support and service.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a small team environment while also being self-motivated.
Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail.
