Morris’s of Usk are a rapidly expanding, local family business based in Usk, Monmouthshire. We are seeking a Deli Counter Assistant to join our established Delicatessen department within our farm shop on a permanent basis to support the ongoing growth of the business.
The Job Responsibilities:
· Excellent Customer Service skills are essential.
· Be customer focused, providing outstanding service as you assist our customers with their choices.
· Counter replenishment and serving customers throughout the day.
· Preparing ready to eat products for weighing and packing.
· Use of slicing equipment.
· Ensuring work areas are clean and compliant with all food safety and hygiene standards.
The Candidate:
· Have enthusiasm, energy, and passion for food. (Previous experience of working with cheese and charcuterie products would be an advantage.)
· Work efficiently as part of a team.
· Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.
· Ability to stay calm and work effectively under pressure.
· Will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail.
