We are looking for a diligent kennel person and general help to clean the kennels on a flexible (as and when needed) part time basis FOR SATURDAYS & SUNDAYS to start with and increase the hours on a mutual basis.

You will be working along side a husband and wife team. This position would suit an older motivated applicant (or motivated student)some one who is semi retired and wants a part time job.
You will need to be reliable as we start at 6.45 am and finish at 4pm. But hours for cleaning kennels are by flexible and by arrangement.
You must be physically fit to lift, carry, bend, and clean to a high standard. You must be a good time keeper. Common sense is a absolute must.
Your main role is to help in feeding the dogs and cleaning out the kennels and dog areas. You will be responsible for the cleanliness of these areas. Your cleaning skills must be outstanding and exceed all expectations. If you don't like cleaning up dog mess and don't know how to tackle it then please don't apply. This is a hands on position.
You will be out going, sociable confident and experienced in customer facing service. You will be at ease with responsibility and making decisions. You must be able to drive to commute to us by car as we are rural and not on a bus route.
For this role:
YOU MUST DRIVE, as we are not accessible by public transport.
YOU MUST LIVE NO MORE THAN 20- 25 MIN AWAY FROM US
We are looking for a capable, competent individual that is at ease with all breeds of dogs. Common sense is preferred to qualifications.
You will be expected to adhere to all training, health and safety.
This is a Minimum Wage position according to age.
