About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and highly capable Assistant Manager to help lead the day-to-day running of the store and support the continued growth of the business.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys responsibility, thrives in fast-paced hospitality environments, and wants to be part of building something long-term.
You will work closely with the Store Manager and Owners to help lead the team, maintain exceptional standards, drive performance, and create a consistently outstanding customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager with the day-to-day operations of the business
- Lead by example on the floor with service, professionalism, and work ethic
- Help recruit, train, motivate, and develop the team
- Ensure high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and customer experience are maintained at all times
- Support stock management, ordering, waste control, and operational efficiency
- Handle customer concerns professionally and confidently
- Help drive sales performance and team accountability
- Identify opportunities to improve systems, workflow, and team performance
- Contribute to building a positive, supportive, and high-performing team culture
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous management or strong supervisory experience within hospitality or retail
- Is confident leading people and maintaining standards
- Has excellent communication and people skills
- Is organised, reliable, and proactive
- Works well under pressure and stays calm during busy periods
- Has strong attention to detail and takes pride in their work
- Approaches the business with an ownership mindset
- Wants to grow into more senior leadership roles as the business expands
Desirable (but not essential)
- Experience in specialty coffee or premium food and beverage
- Experience helping improve operations or grow a business
- A passion for hospitality, coffee, and customer experience
