We are looking for an experienced and motivated CCTV Drainage Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to deliver a range of drainage services across commercial environments.
You will be responsible for undertaking both reactive and planned works, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving ability, and a commitment to excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate, diagnose, and clear blockages in drainage systems (toilets, sinks, basins, urinals, baths, manholes, and mainline drains)
- Conduct CCTV drainage inspections and produce detailed reports and surveys
- Carry out high-pressure water jetting (HPWJ) and other clearance techniques
- Support vacuum tanker operations where required
- Accurately record job details, findings, and outcomes using company and client systems
- Maintain clear communication with clients, ensuring a professional service at all times
- Provide updates to Helpdesk and operational teams on job progress
- Participate in a weekly on-call rota and undertake overtime when required
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2 years’ experience within the drainage industry
- Proven experience in CCTV drainage surveys and diagnostics (coding desirable)
- HPWJ certification or equivalent hands-on experience
- Strong knowledge of drainage systems and associated plumbing
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills
- Strong attention to detail with accurate reporting ability
- Good communication skills and a professional, customer-focused approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to travel nationwide and stay away when required
- Ability to pass a DBS check
- Flexible, practical, and proactive approach
