Duties & Responsibilities:

Working in gatehouse dealing with drivers face to face on arrival and departure

Explaining site rules
-
Conducting yard checks systematically
-
Explaining site rules to drivers
-
Conducting yard checks
-
Customer Support Duties
-
Daily reporting to senior management
-
Vehicle checks upon departure from site load secure
-
Supporting the Transport operation in busy periods
What we're looking for:
-
An understanding of the transport industry would be preferred but not essential
-
Working as part of a successful team
-
Excellent communication skills
-
Experience of dealing directly with customers
-
A working knowledge of IT systems and Microsoft Excel is essential for the role
