Summary
We are seeking a Cafe Assistant to join our dynamic team at JPL Catering, hours are between Monday to Friday 8am to 3pm. This role is essential in ensuring that our café operations run smoothly while providing excellent customer service. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality food and beverages to our customers.
Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation, sandwiches, baguettes, wraps, salads and ensure all items are presented beautifully.
- To be trained to prepare and cook simple lunches as per the menu in the absence of the chef
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety in the café area.
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders and serving food and drinks.
- Support the team during busy periods to ensure efficient café operations.
- Help manage inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment as needed.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a welcoming atmosphere for customers.
Requirements
- Experience in a café or restaurant environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- A passion for food and customer service.
