We are seeking a motivated and energetic Part Time Kitchen Assistant to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a vibrant nursery environment, supporting daily food distribution and kitchen operations. Duties and cooking for children and staff, ensuring meals are nutritious and appealing
- Support the serving of meals and snacks to children in accordance with health and safety guidelines
- Help with inventory management by checking stock levels and notifying supervisors of supplies needed
- Follow all food safety procedures and document relevant records accurately
- Support the kitchen team during busy meal times to ensure smooth service flow
- Assist with general kitchen organization, including storage of ingredients and equipment
Skills
- Knowledge of kitchen safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to work efficiently both independently .
- Strong attention to detail when handling food and maintaining cleanliness
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with staff member
- Enthusiastic attitude with a proactive approach to supporting kitchen operations

Pay: £12.71-£12.72 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 10.0 per week
