Business Development Manager (BDM)
Location: Salisbury / Wiltshire
Salary: £38,000 – £42,000 per annum
The Ship Inn is looking for an ambitious and commercially driven Business Development Manager to join our growing team.
The role will focus on driving new business, building strong local partnerships, developing corporate and event opportunities, and increasing revenue across the pub and hospitality business.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new business and partnership opportunities
- Build and maintain relationships with local businesses and organisations
- Identify opportunities for events, private functions and corporate bookings
- Drive sales and revenue growth
- Develop local marketing and promotional opportunities
- Represent The Ship Inn within the local community
- Work closely with the management and marketing teams
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in business development, sales or hospitality
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Commercially minded and target-driven
- Confident working independently and developing new opportunities
- Knowledge of the Salisbury/Wiltshire market is an advantage
Salary: £38,000 – £42,000 per year
