Background
Methilhill Community Children’s Initiative (MCCI) is a community group and registered charity dedicated to providing clubs, activities and experiences to our local children, young people and their families.
In 2025 we are expanding our community services and will be opening a centre which will provide a community cafe, people’s pantry and groups, clubs and activities.
MCCI is managed by a voluntary board of community members.
Job Purpose
The task of the cleaner is to ensure that high standards are maintained in the building at all times.
Main Duties
- To clean all areas daily to ensure high standards are maintained
- To follow a deep-clean rota to ensure all areas are thoroughly cleaned at all times
- To maintain cleaning records
- To maintain stocks of cleaning supplies whilst adhering to budgets
- To work within the policies and procedures of MCCI
- To complete training as required
- To complete risk assessments and report any maintenance issues to management
Skills/Experience
- Cleaning experience essential
- Motivated – lone working required
- Compassionate and understanding
