Part-Time Associate Dentist – Orthodontics (Specialist or Special Interest)

We are looking for either a GDC-registered Specialist in Orthodontics or a Dentist with appropriate enhanced skills and experience in orthodontics to join Cramond House Dental Practice on a long-term, self-employed associate basis.
The role includes an established NHS orthodontic patient base with ongoing cases, alongside scope to develop private orthodontic care. The position is initially for two half-day sessions per month, with flexibility to increase as demand grows.
Founded in 1947 and now in its third generation of ownership, Cramond House is an established practice in the heart of Clitheroe. We provide a broad range of general, restorative and cosmetic dentistry alongside dental implants, orthodontics and comprehensive periodontal care. We place a strong emphasis on clinical standards, patient comfort and individualised care.
We are looking for a clinician who takes pride in their work, communicates well with patients and colleagues, and brings a thoughtful, professional and patient-focused approach to orthodontic care.

The position
- Part-time: Initially two half-day sessions per month
- Established NHS orthodontic caseload
- Scope to develop private orthodontic care
- Long-term, self-employed associate basis
- NHS orthodontics: £38.74 per UOA
- 45/55 split on private treatments and lab costs
Requirements
- Current GDC registration
- Either appropriate postgraduate training, enhanced skills and experience in orthodontics (DwSI), with evidence of competence appropriate to Level 2 orthodontic care; or inclusion on the GDC Specialist List in Orthodontics
- Valid NHS England Performer Number
- Experience in NHS orthodontic care in England
- Appropriate professional indemnity or insurance
- Right to work in the UK
- Satisfactory completion of required pre-engagement checks, including any required ICB approval and NHS Level 2 orthodontic accreditation
