Overview
We are seeking a tenacious and hardworking Assistant Manager to assist our Store Manager in leading our team. In this role, you will be responsible for motivating your team, leading by example, and setting a high standard to drive sales and customer retention. You will manage the store in the Store Manager's absence and be expected to push your team to achieve their best. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a strong customer service orientation, enabling them to build rapport with both their team and customers.
Duties
- Supporting your manager and running the store in their absence.
- Engage with customers to identify their needs and preferences.
- Provide expert advice on products and services, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Drive sales through effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Motivate team members to achieve sales targets and enhance overall performance.
- Demonstrate strong time management skills by prioritising tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Assisting with visual merchandising and layouts to maximise sales.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Retail Management is highly desired.
- Exceptional communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Strong organisational abilities to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A proactive drive to achieve personal and team sales goals.
- A passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
Pay will be competitive and commensurate with experience.
As this is a full time position, candidates with full availability will be prioritised.
Weekend working is required.
