The Role
We're looking for a talented Full Stack Engineer to join our growing product and development team.
This is an exciting opportunity to work across both frontend and backend development, building and enhancing a multi-tenant SaaS platform that supports schools and education professionals. You'll play a key role in delivering features from concept through to deployment, working across our Next.js/React frontend and TypeScript backend services.
You'll thrive in this role if you enjoy solving problems across the full technology stack, collaborating with others, and taking ownership of delivering high-quality solutions. You'll also work alongside AI-assisted development tools, using your technical expertise and judgement to review, refine and integrate solutions effectively.
Key Responsibilities

Design, build and deliver features across both frontend and backend systems.

Develop and maintain scalable applications using TypeScript, React and Next.js.

Ensure frontend and backend services remain aligned through shared API contracts.

Review, validate and enhance code generated through AI-assisted development tools.

Contribute to architecture, integration and technical design decisions.

Support cross-functional requirements including authentication, performance optimisation and tenant management.

Work collaboratively with colleagues to continuously improve products, processes and user experience.
About You
You'll be an adaptable engineer with strong full-stack development experience and a passion for delivering high-quality software.
Essential Skills & Experience

Proven commercial experience developing full-stack applications using TypeScript.

Strong experience with React and Next.js.

Experience developing backend services using Node.js.

Solid understanding of API design and data modelling principles.

Strong code review and problem-solving skills.

Ability to take ownership of features and work across multiple technology layers.
Desirable Skills & Experience

Experience building multi-tenant SaaS applications.

Knowledge of contract-first or specification-driven development approaches.

Experience working with AI coding and development tools.

Understanding of automated testing, including unit and end-to-end testing.

Awareness of accessibility best practices for web applications.
