Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic QTS GCSE English Tutor to inspire learners of all ages to develop their language skills and achieve their communication goals for 1-to-1 sessions. Duties
- Design and deliver dynamic, interactive English lessons tailored to each student’s skill level and learning objectives
- Assess students’ progress regularly and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
- Foster a positive, encouraging atmosphere that motivates learners to participate actively
- Utilise various teaching tools and resources, including multimedia and digital platforms, to enhance engagement
- Provide constructive feedback to help students improve in preparation for GCSE examinations
- Support students with special education needs by adapting lessons to accommodate diverse learning styles
- Maintain accurate records of lesson plans, attendance, and student progress
Requirements
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching English, preferably with children or young learners
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain concepts clearly and patiently
- Experience working with children or in special education environments is highly desirable
- Knowledge of effective teaching methodologies and curriculum development for language learners
- Ability to create an inclusive classroom environment that supports diverse learning needs
- Enthusiasm for helping students succeed and a proactive approach to instruction
- Flexibility to adapt lessons based on individual student requirements and feedback
Pay: £35.00 per hour
