Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Office Administrator to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth operation of daily administrative tasks, supporting the overall efficiency of our office environment. The successful candidate will possess strong computer skills, excellent organisational abilities, and a professional attitude to manage various clerical responsibilities effectively.
Duties
- Manage incoming calls with professional phone etiquette and direct them appropriately
- Participation in all weekend charity fundraising events is a compulsory component of the role.
- Maintain and update office records using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, ensuring all information is up-to-date
- Assist with receipts and bookkeeping using Xero or similar software
- Organise meetings, appointments, and maintain calendars for staff members
- Prepare correspondence, reports, and other documents as required
- Support inventory management and procurement processes
- Handle general administrative duties such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents
- Liaise with donors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure seamless communication
Requirements
- Proven office experience with a solid understanding of administrative procedures
- Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with Xero or similar accounting software is desirable
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Good typing speed and accuracy for data entry purposes
- Demonstrated clerical experience with attention to detail
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Pay: £24,420.00-£27,000.00 per year
