Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Vehicle Technician Mechanic to join our dedicated team. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostics using schematics and technical manuals to identify faults in vehicles.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on diverse vehicle systems, including engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, and electrical components.
- Utilise hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete repairs efficiently and accurately.
- Interpret technical drawings and schematics to facilitate precise repairs and modifications.
- Carry out heavy lifting tasks safely when handling large components or assemblies.
- Perform equipment repair and maintenance tasks to ensure operational efficiency of workshop tools and machinery.
- Assist in the assembly of vehicle parts or systems during repair or refurbishment processes.
- Maintain detailed records of all work performed in accordance with company standards.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations, including welding safety protocols.
Experience
- Proven experience as a vehicle mechanic or technician with a strong background in automotive repair.
- Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems and vehicle diagnostics.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics, technical manuals, and assembly instructions.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance apparatus.
- Experience with equipment repair, heavy lifting, and general workshop safety procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.

Pay: From £52,000.00 per year
