AJAW Cleaning Services is looking for reliable, hardworking and experienced cleaners to join our team for a two-day student accommodation changeover clean in London W9 3RG.
This is a temporary position for Monday 31 August and Tuesday 1 September 2026 only.
The work is being carried out during the changeover period between existing students leaving the accommodation and new students moving in. We therefore need cleaners who can work efficiently, follow instructions and maintain a high standard of cleaning throughout the day.
Duties Will Include
Cleaning individual student flats, including:
● Bathrooms
● Kitchens
● Living areas
● Bedroom areas
● Beds and surrounding furniture
● Desks and study areas
● Floors
● General surfaces, fixtures and fittings
Kitchen Cleaning Will Include
● Cleaning ovens
● Cleaning fridges internally and externally
● Cleaning sinks and taps
● Cleaning worktops and preparation surfaces
● Cleaning cupboard doors and accessible cupboard interiors
● Wiping down kitchen appliances
● Removing grease, food residue and marks
● Cleaning floors
● Leaving kitchens clean, hygienic and ready for the next student
There will also be communal kitchens, corridors, walkways and shared areas that require cleaning.
Who We Are Looking For
We are particularly interested in applicants with previous experience in:
● End-of-tenancy cleaning
● Student accommodation cleaning
● Hotel or housekeeping work
● Deep cleaning
● Commercial cleaning
Applicants should:
● Be available to work on BOTH Monday 31 August and Tuesday 1 September
● Be reliable and punctual
● Have previous professional cleaning experience
● Have good attention to detail
● Be comfortable cleaning ovens, kitchens and bathrooms
● Be physically able to carry out cleaning duties throughout the working day
● Be able to work efficiently as part of a team
● Be able to follow instructions
● Take pride in producing a high standard of work
● Have the right to work in the UK
Important
This is a busy student changeover clean with a fixed deadline, so reliability is extremely important.
