We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Chef to join our team here at the Waterloo Hotel. The Waterloo Hotel is a family run hotel, looking for an experienced chef in smooth running of our kitchen. Where you will be serving in the busy bistro, events and weddings. The Waterloo Hotel prides itself on high standards, with a reputation in the area for excellent food & service, and we believe a good chef does too!
You will be a dynamic, confident and ambitious Chef who is standards driven, strives for perfection and has a genuine drive and ambition. To successfully fill this role you will have experience working in a similar environment, excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Our staff must:
- Adhere to high standards of hygiene and cleanliness
- Have a passion for good food and drink
- Be able to work a combination of daytimes, evenings and weekends
Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for the preparation, distribution and overall service in the kitchen. You will ensure that all meal prepared are finished to the highest of standards with use of the correct ingredients and equipment.
Ensures the cost-effective and efficient control of stock including placing orders for food products and the checking/reconciliation of deliveries. Ensures that wastage is minimised.
Running and managing a busy service, working closely with front of house team to provide a quality experience our customers
Experience:
At least1-3 years of relevant experience working in the kitchen with relevant qualifications.
