Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Cabinet Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for woodworking and the ability to create high-quality cabinets and furniture pieces. This role requires a keen eye for detail, craftsmanship, and the ability to work with all materials and tools. The Cabinet Maker will be responsible for reading and understanding 3d designs, machining and fabricating.
Duties
- Fabricate cabinets and furniture according to design specifications.
- Assemble cabinet components using CNC, hand tools and fixed machinery
- Perform all standard joinery techniques
- Conduct measurements and cut materials accurately to achieve precise fit.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Handle heavy lifting of materials and finished products as necessary.
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the manufacturing process.
Skills
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to cabinet making.
- Strong knowledge of joinery techniques and carpentry principles.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications - ideally using SketchUp
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality craftsmanship.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot effectively.
- Good physical stamina for heavy lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Pay: £14.00-£17.00 per hour

- Certificate of Higher Education (preferred)
Experience:
- Bench hand joinery/cabinet making: 5 years (required)

- Full fluent English (required)
