The Role
As a Catering Assistant, you will help provide healthy, nutritious meals for our pupils.
Duties will include:
- Assisting with the preparation and serving of food
- Setting up and clearing dining areas
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene
- Washing dishes and kitchen equipment
- Supporting the catering team to ensure a positive lunchtime experience for pupils
- Working as part of a team in the cleaning of all work areas
- Assisting in the periodic deep clean work associated with food areas
- Undertaking cash handling
We're Looking For Someone Who:
- Has a positive and friendly attitude
- Works well as part of a team
- Is reliable, punctual, and organised
- Understands the importance of food hygiene and safety
- Has experience in catering or food service (desirable but not essential)
Permanent
16.25 hours per week, 39 weeks per year
Salary: Grade 1, Scale point 3
Full time equivalent (FTE): £25,614 per annum
