Job Summary
Legacy Youth Zone is looking for an energetic and relationship-focused Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser to develop, secure and manage partnerships with businesses that generate sustainable income and wider support for our work with young people.
Working closely with the Chief Executive, Corporate Manager and wider Fundraising and Communications Team, you will identify new corporate supporters, build a strong pipeline of opportunities and create engaging ways for businesses and their employees to support Legacy. This could include sponsorship, Charity of the Year partnerships, employee fundraising, volunteering, corporate donations and challenge events.

The role offers hybrid working, with at least 60% of the working week based at Legacy Youth Zone.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Research, identify and approach prospective corporate partners and supporters.
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of new business opportunities.
- Secure income through corporate sponsorship, donations, Charity of the Year partnerships, payroll giving and cause-related marketing.
- Develop employee fundraising, volunteering programmes, workplace campaigns and team challenge events.
- Build strong, long-lasting relationships with new and existing corporate supporters.
- Manage a portfolio of corporate partners and provide excellent ongoing stewardship.
- Organise supporter visits, volunteering opportunities and engagement activities.
- Prepare compelling proposals, presentations, funding applications and impact reports.
- Attend networking events and represent Legacy Youth Zone externally.
- Work with Trustees, Ambassadors and colleagues to maximise introductions and partnership opportunities.
- Support the planning and delivery of fundraising events and campaigns.
- Deliver agreed fundraising income targets and performance measures.
- Accurately record activity, supporter information and income using Salesforce CRM.
- Monitor and report on fundraising performance and maintain GDPR-compliant supporter records.
- Act as a positive ambassador for Legacy Youth Zone and promote its values, safeguarding responsibilities and commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
Essential
- Experience of building relationships or partnerships with individuals, businesses or other organisations that have generated sustainable income.
- Experience of working in a results-driven environment and meeting agreed targets.
- Experience of using a CRM system to record and track activity.
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
- Confident networking and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage a range of stakeholders.
- Ability to approach corporate donors face-to-face, present funding opportunities and confidently negotiate financial support.
- Ability to develop effective fundraising messages for different audiences.
- Good numeracy skills, with the ability to monitor and report on financial performance.
- Competence in Microsoft Office and general IT systems.
- A proactive, positive and solution-focused approach.
- Commitment to Legacy Youth Zone’s values and its work supporting young people.
- Willingness to work occasional evenings or unsociable hours for events, networking opportunities and Youth Zone tours.
- Eligibility to work in the UK and willingness to undertake an Enhanced DBS check.
Desirable
- Experience of planning and managing fundraising events.
- Previous experience of corporate fundraising, business development, account management or partnership development.
- Experience of using Salesforce CRM.
Pay: £30,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
