In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving nutritious, appealing meals that meet the dietary needs of our residents. Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of meals in accordance with dietary guidelines and residents’ preferences
- Ensure all food is prepared safely, maintaining high standards of food hygiene and safety protocols
- Assist with meal planning, ensuring balanced nutrition and appealing presentation
- Serve meals to residents with friendly, respectful customer service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces
- Follow all food safety regulations and document food storage, handling, and preparation procedures
- Support special dietary requirements or requests from residents as needed
Requirements
- experience in food preparation and cooking
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in kitchen hygiene
