Background
We are a bespoke art-frame manufacturer based in 6,000 sq ft workshops in leafy Bollington in Cheshire. We specialise in engineered oversize art-frames in welded metals, woods & acrylic boxes to present and protect beautiful art. The frames are created to a high standard, with a range of surface finishes.
Role
We need a Craftsman Framer to join us who has experience of welding aluminium & brass (TIG & MIG) . We do currently have an expert metalworker, but as this is our niche, we are expanding and need extra capacity in this area. You will be prepared to be effective right from the start and lean in to help in other areas as required. You will also be organised, intelligent, unafraid of hard work, have the skills, knowledge and experience to work on your own initiative, and the confidence to count as part of a team. You will be happy to work hard to achieve quality results in a friendly, small team environment with up to date machinery and systems.
Key Skills
· Previous experience in metalwork/Tig/Mig welding
· Excellent organisational skills.
· Reliable and positive approach
· A desire to learn and to be the best in the industry
· Ability to cover additional areas of framing manufacture.
· Excellent communication skills.
· Decisive, helpful, accommodating, enthusiastic, conscientious and considerate.
· Demonstrate drive and passion for the work.
