Overview
Are you passionate about vehicle care and enjoy working independently? As a Self Employed Valeter, you'll take charge of providing top-tier cleaning and detailing services for a variety of vehicles. This role allows you to operate on a weekly schedule while delivering exceptional results that leave vehicles looking pristine and customers delighted. Your expertise will help maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, shine, and presentation, ensuring every vehicle meets customer expectations and company quality benchmarks.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning, polishing, and detailing of vehicles, including interior and exterior surfaces
- Use appropriate cleaning agents, tools, and equipment to achieve professional results
- Inspect vehicles for any damages or issues and communicate findings to clients or management
- Maintain cleanliness of your work area and ensure all tools and supplies are well-organized
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client questions and ensuring satisfaction with the service provided
- Keep accurate records of work completed, parts used, and time spent on each vehicle
- Maintain professional relationships with existing and new customers
- Deal with enquiries and quote while out on the job to gain new customers
Required
- Valid driving license with a clean driving record to travel between locations or client sites
- 25+ ideally however skills and experience will be taken into account
Skills
- Previous vehicle cleaning experience ideal however training will be provided
- Strong customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients and understand their needs
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery, polishers, vacuums, and other detailing tools safely and effectively
- Self-motivated with excellent time management skills to handle multiple appointments independently
- Knowledge of vehicle surfaces, cleaning products, and detailing techniques is a plus but not mandatory
2 months Training is provided for this role to ensure you are confident and have the knowledge available to be successful and keep our customers smiling and coming back. Timing on training can vary depending on when yourself and the company feel you have everything you need. A van will be supplied once you have completed training
