Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the daily operations of our busy establishment. Responsibilities
- Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, including staff scheduling and coordination.
- Supervise front-of-house and back-of-house teams, ensuring efficient service delivery and adherence to company standards.
- Support food preparation and cooking processes, maintaining consistency in quality and presentation.
- Monitor food safety practices, ensuring compliance with health regulations and company policies.
- Manage customer relations, addressing concerns promptly to ensure a positive dining experience.
- Assist in training new staff members, fostering a team-oriented environment.
- Oversee cleanliness and organisation of the restaurant, including kitchen areas and dining spaces.
- Support in inventory management, stock control, and ordering supplies as needed.
Skills
- Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within hospitality settings.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards.
- Excellent team management and leadership abilities to motivate staff effectively.
- Good understanding of food production processes and kitchen operations.
- Experience with serving customers in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating hospitality excellence.
- Familiarity with culinary practices, including food presentation and quality control.
