Excell Supply is currently recruiting passionate and dedicated IT Teachers to work in secondary schools across Flint. Whether looking for flexible day-to-day supply work or a long-term teaching position, Excell Supply has opportunities to suit experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs).
The successful candidate will inspire students to develop their digital skills and confidence, delivering engaging IT lessons that cover a range of topics including computer systems, digital literacy, programming, and cybersecurity, preparing students for an increasingly technology-driven world.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging IT lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes digital learning and problem-solving.
- Assess, monitor, and support student progress.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively.
- Work collaboratively with school staff and contribute to the wider school community where required.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching IT and/or Computer Science at secondary school level.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- A passion for inspiring young people and supporting their educational development.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
