We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Solar PV Electrician to join our team who is organised, has attention to detail, good time keeping and looking to progress in their career within Renewables.
The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Solar PV Systems & Battery Storage.
This role requires a strong understanding of domestic electrical systems, mechanical knowledge, and experience working with various tools and equipment.
The position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to sustainable energy projects while developing your expertise in the renewable energy sector.
Responsibilities
- Install solar photovoltaic (PV) systems in accordance with project specifications and safety standards.
- Conduct electrical wiring, cabling, and connection of solar panels, inverters, and other system components.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues within existing solar systems and perform repairs as needed.
- Conduct system inspections to ensure optimal performance and compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to complete installations on schedule.
- Experience
- Proven experience as an Electrician specialising in solar PV installations.
- Fully Qualified (NVQ level 3 or equivalent) & 18th Edition
- Strong electrical experience including wiring, circuit testing, and system troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of safety standards relevant to electrical work and renewable energy projects.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and installation manuals.
- Must have Full UK licence with Max 6 points.

Pay: £46,000.00 per year
