Job Summary:
We are seeking a multi-skilled tradesperson to join our small works team. This role requires a broad skill set in servicing, maintaining, and installing UPVC and aluminium windows, doors, and conservatory roofs. The ideal candidate will be versatile and capable of handling a variety of tasks to meet our clients’ needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service, adjust, and maintain UPVC and aluminium windows, doors, and conservatory roofs.
- Install replacement double-glazed units (DGUs) and carry out associated repairs.
- Service and replace locking mechanisms, handles, and hinges on windows and doors.
- Conduct detailed surveys to identify necessary repairs and parts.
- Deliver high-quality customer service and maintain clear communication with clients and colleagues.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment on-site.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the window and door industry with a broad range of skills in glazing and general trades.
- GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
- Fluent spoken and written English, with strong communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and a customer-focused approach.
- Full UK driving licence.
