Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our team.
Driving a Water/ fuel bowser and filling plant for works on the highway network.
The ideal candidate will possess hold a cpc and CSCS card and have strong commitment to safety and customer service.
This role requires a professional attitude, excellent driving skills, and the ability to navigate various routes while adhering to time scedules.
Responsibilities
- Operate a 7.5 tonne split water( 2500 lts)and Diesel (900 lts bowser ( for the safe transportation of goods and fuelling of plant with fuel and water on site.
- Ensure timely deliveries to customers while maintaining high standards of service
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance
- Load and unload goods securely and efficiently, ensuring proper handling of items
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation as required
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status
Skills
- Proven experience as a delivery driver with a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations
- Proficient in operating 7.5 t vehicles, with a valid driving licence appropriate for 7.5 tonne vehicles
- Excellent navigation skills with the ability to read maps and use GPS systems effectively
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in managing deliveries and paperwork
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and professionalism
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with customers and colleagues

Pay: £1,150.00-£1,380.00 per week
